A social revolution is occuring in the way information is shared, knowledge is generated and innovation takes place over the internet and there is renewed interest in the social concept of community to support online learning(Holmes, 2013). An online learning community is a public or private destination on the internet that addresses its members' learning needs by peer to peer learning. In online learning community, people share knowledge via textual discussion, audio, videos or other internet supported media. Online learning communities are comprised of people brought together with a definite purpose, generally for the completion of a course/program which involves interaction, collaboration and social construction of knowledge and meaning.
