Analysis Vs Design Analysis is defined as the process that are carried out before the construction of any building. It simply refers to the phenomena of understanding about the load that the building or any other structure should sustain. Also it is the calculation of member force that a single member of any structure resist. Design refers to the post process after analysis of certain building is carried out. What size of beam and column should be casted  simply depends upon the analysis data. While designing any member, the minimum size of any member should be greater than the given value prescribed by analysis.
